SS Residence is a hotel in the center of Bucharest, near Piața Unirii. With a change in ownership, the hotel underwent a process of renovation and redesign, and it was natural that this renewal be reflected in its image.

 

The hotel’s name could not be changed, so we focused on creating a new logo and, more broadly, a new visual identity.

Like a calligraphic signature or a reinterpretation of the infinity symbol, the graphic mark we created for the hotel’s new logo provides a personal, elegant, and subtly mysterious touch. This helped visually soften any potential negative associations with the name.

We applied this graphic element across the hotel’s printed materials, and the red and gray tones were harmoniously integrated into the interior design decorative elements.
